Purple Spiral Lampwork Czech Glass, Hypoallergenic Steel Artisan Ear Wires

When I found these 31 mm lampwork glass beads made in the Czech Republic, I had to have them! Beautiful blueish-purple swirls inside the transparent purple glass beads, in an alluring shape, framed with sterling silver beads and topped off with moonstones.

I make my own ear wires from scratch. I use 316L stainless steel 20 gauge wire. 316L Stainless Steel Wire is the MOST refined, has the lowest carbon content, is the most corrosive-resistant and tumbles to the highest gloss of any stainless steel wire available. The steel wire is ideal for sensitive ears. I have shaped these ear wires in pairs here in my home studio. I file and de-bur the ends by hand for a comfortable fit. Then the ear wires are hammered for strength and texture. Finally, I polish them to a shine by hand.
